PREPARE JOB
The repaired work should be carried out according to the safety work permit SP-5006,& RISK
ASSESSMENT SP-5012. Preparing job as follows:
1. Discuss whole repaired work plan with MASTER,DUTY OFFICER/ BOSN/RIDING
GANG/PM&AB
2. Checking all repaired tools in good working condition and PPE satisfactory.
3. Checking BA SET&EEBD in good condition.
4. Atmosphere test cot 1c 1s 5c&ss before entry.
5. Communication system test with satisfactory.
6. Adjust vessel list by port as much as possible.
7. Good stripping for COT.
WORKING PROCEDURE
1. ITT COT 5C/1C&1S,Fill IG to COT during ITT.
(COT 5C TO 4C,8H;COT 1S TO 2S ,7H;COT 1C TO 3S&1P,10H.)
2. COT Gas free , atmosphere test during gas free until O2 contained 20.9%, H2S LESS 1%,HC
LESS 1%.(COT 5&SS need 11 H,COT1C&1S need 14H)
3. Entery cot ,valve test by compress air .
4. Renew valve seat ring.
5. Valve test by compress air.
DURING REPAIR
1. All valve on all pipelines serving the space been secured to prevent their accidental opening.
2. The COT to be continuously ventilated.
3. Keep good communication & reporting interval of 10 minutes
4. Atmosphere test to be taken every hour by multi gas meter.
5. If ventilation failure or atmosphere tests change from agreed safe criteria, STOP WORK &
EVACUATION immediately!
