Senior Service Learning Project Proposal

Project Description and Community Involvement

I want to volunteer at the World Wide Missions because it will help people in the community. My
idea is to organize and price items that will then be sold at a cheap price to people who cant
afford to pay a regular store price. I hope my project will provide more organization in the store
to insure more sales will take place for the people who need them.
Mentor
My mentor is Mary Pry and she is the manager that runs the thrift store five days a week.
Timetable
I plan to volunteer about five hours a week for five weeks. I will complete all of my hours no later
than the end of February.
Statement of Commitment
My proposal should be accepted because my volunteer work will help provide a neat, organized
store that will help provide underprivileged people in the community with clothes and household
items. .
