The brief from the client was to provide a custom built stand
using technology to promote Vales position within the mining
industry highlighting the following key company elements:
second largest in the world; best practice; innovation;
science and technology. The stand must also cater for daily
changes to promote various minerals.
Based on the above brief, the team developed a stand
concept that included the following elements:
1. Two storey custom made stand with lounges on the second
floor and drinks, coffee and general business on ground floor.

2. Paperless stand to promote the environmental aspects,

using technology to gather and then disperse information.
3. 205 LED Screens to facilitate a changing theme for each
day of the exhibition.
4. Use of exclusive Brazilian coffee with two baristas to
promote Vales Brazilian connections.
5. LED strip lighting on the floors and ceilings to change colour
throughout the days for additional ambience.
6. Off-stand sand sculptures providing artistic and visual aid
to support the daily changes.

Smeg approached ExpoNet with a challenging brief for its

trade fair program. The objective: to create an innovative
stand which reinforces Technology with Style. This first
installation within designEX provided a platform to launch
the new Marc Newson product range and showcase
several other Smeg products.
The ExpoNet team created a distinctive design which was
inviting, professional and made an immediate impact.
The completed design used large surface areas built from
textured paint finishes and smooth laminates to create a
look of quality, clean, considered approach.

The stand had significant show presence due to a large rear

product and brand wall. The central product bench pods
could also be reconfigured during the show to allow for
an evening cocktail function layout. ExpoNet created a
functioning kitchen/coffee lounge on the stand for practical
reinforcement on the quality and performance of the Smeg
product range.
The Smeg product was displayed to a discerning design
audience and the environment received rave reviews.

Used to introduce the new Infiniti brand and car range to the
Australian market, this stand promotes Infinitis position within
the high-end automotive market.
To meet the design requirements, our in-house production
facility manufactured the stand using premium and natural
materials with rich colours such as dark timber veneer flooring
and purple highlights.

The collaborative approach to the stand included site visits

and interaction between ExpoNet staff, the client and their
design agency. ExpoNet used our extensive knowledge
base to advise the agency on alternative materials
and construction methods to suit their budget and their
branding. The final result was a strong show presence with an

Groeneveld required a custom stand that would include

four different product displays, a semi-private meeting
space, an informal beverage station and reception counter.
Utilising the Groeneveld green colour scheme, the ExpoNet
custom stand design team worked with smart, clean and
sharp lines to develop a simple, fresh and functional stand.
A feature of the stand was a double-sided product display
and networking tower which allowed Groeneveld staff to
interact with attendees and demonstrate their product.

A prominent green branding stripe travelled throughout

the stand from the back wall to the flooring and reception
desk. Innovative lighting continued the colour theme with
dynamic green LED lighting underneath all counter tops,
and large acrylic graphic screens were used to house the
semi-private meeting space.

The Good Food and Wine Show is the largest consumer food
and wine exhibition in Australia. Woolworths had a large
stand presence and hosted a demo kitchen area.
Together with Woolworths we created and designed a
stand that promotes the macro products that are available
in Woolworths stores. It provides the opportunity to see,
taste and learn about the macro products in a comfortable
environment within the show.

The multi-show stand design includes a demo kitchen,

theatre seating using StyleMe furniture, back of house
kitchen and prep areas, BBQ demo and sampling area,
coffee counter, retail/sampling area and produce
lightboxes that showcased the macro range.
The overall result is an open flow stand that has distinct areas
for retail and sampling while being warm and inviting.

The Age VCE & Careers Expo is dedicated to current VCE

students and recent university graduates. Victoria University
is one of several universities to exhibit at the event and
therefore required an eye-catching design to stand out
from the crowd that was also highly functional.
Victoria University aimed to capture graduate information
through the use of iPads on stands and an interactive iPad
counter. The design also required several brochure display
areas, lockable storage area and a flatscreen monitor for
additional video media such as TV advertisements and
campus promotionals.

The strong visual branding and informational signage

incorporated throughout the stand helped elevate the
presence of Victoria University within the exhibition.
The final design created a friendly, open and inviting space
to attract students and encourage interaction with both
the iPads and Victoria University staff.

ExpoNet designed, manufactured and delivered an

exclusively branded Oxford Landing Estates restaurant
space for the Good Food & Wine Show exhibition. The
restaurant featured celebrity chef Maggie Beer, whose dishes
were paired with Oxford Landing Estates wines and was
available for all attendees.
The clients brief was specific: a sophisticated and functional
dining space with a regatta theme, reminiscent of sitting
riverside on a sunny day. From a practical perspective,
seating for 180 patrons, multiple service areas and designated
queuing aisles were required.

The resulting design showcased two 4 metre high archways

highlighting the entrances of the area and setting the tone
for the entire space. The entrances were surrounded by low
height walling with a ship-lap faade and the queuing areas
were defined with rustic-style decking and sturdy pier-like
bollards with rope. These elements, coupled with the Oxford
Landing Estates branding, reinforce the winerys iconic
location on the Murray River of South Australia.

As a global manufacturer within the automotive aftermarket

industry, Dayco exhibited at Australian Auto Aftermarket
Expo to launch new products to, and interact with, existing
clientele and industry associates. The brief asked for
entertainment and networking areas, including meeting
spaces and a small cafe area.

Utilising opaque acrylics, backlit signage and custom

counters with metallic edge strips, the final design used
company colours and artwork to support the well known
brand image. Construction of the stand using ExpoNets
Maxima system delivered a strong structure with clean lines
to reinforce technological and futuristic styling.

Oliver Footwear is a leading manufacturer of both consumer

and protective footwear. They required a stand that
would present a strong brand image within the exhibition.
They would also be utilising this stand across multiple trade
shows with varying stand sizes and target demographics,
and therefore the design needed to be flexible and
cost-effective.

The design uses a mix of exhibition hire system and custom

components to create a retail environment and product
display showcase. It is an interactive environment with handson displays and the opportunity for visitors to experience the
products first hand. High visibility graphics throughout the
stand deliver an instantly recognisable brand presence and
product information.

visible, functional and accessible to visitors and association
members. The stand utilised an information point to provide
information services and promote its industry-leading

magazine, Australia Automotive Aftermarket, alongside a

formal meeting space for business to business interactions.
Separate storage and meeting space for the Association
staff were also included.
The dominant 4 metre feature tower provided prominence
using the Octanorm system product as a cost effective
solution, while allowing the use of quality graphic signage to
promote the association and its two special interest groups.

BECGBR wanted a stand that would showcase the Cairns

Region and supply meeting space for 10 operators.
The Octanorm system stand design included a custom
built reception counter at the front and regional branding
above the reception and down the centre of the stand at a
dominant height of 5 metres.
Individual logos and image branding for each operator was
displayed above their four-person meeting desks. These
meeting desks included lockable storage, wall mounted

brochure holders and LCD screens. A central aisle way

provided easy access for visitors to each meeting desk from
the reception counter.
The stand was built on top of a raised beech floor which
provided subtle cable management and a stylish finish to
the show stand.
