1. At festivals they dance and play music, guitar is called a Charango
2. If you visit someones house you shake hands and say Buenos dias (good
morning)
3. Carnival where you throw buckets of water at each other,
4. Yunza tree in the square decorated with fruits and gifts, dance around it and
chop it down
5. Christmas have a manager scene and decorate with lights, at midnight eat
supper and watch fireworks
6. Poncho cape, for men woven vest wollen pants, women- blouse shawl and
colourful skirt called pollera
Food
- Paneton (cake at Christmas, pieces of fruit)
-Pachamanca (for festivals made with meat and corn cooked in a whole in the
ground)
- 200 kinds of potatoes
- Aji (peruivian hot red or yellow pepper)
- cebiche (raw fish seasoned with lemon and vinegar)
- Tamales (corn and meat, cheese wrapped in a banana leaves)
