We are pleased to inform you that during your pilot,

students have access to EssayScoreran interactive

program that offers essay writing activities with instant
feedback and scoring.
This innovative tool will be embedded within Pearson
Realize in time for back to school 2016. Until that time,
access to EssayScorer is available through a separate URL.
If your site wishes to use EssayScorer during the pilot,
someone from your school will need to request access.
Directions on how to do so are below.

ACCOUNT ADMINISTRATORS

Each site requires an Account Administrator.

Most often, the Account Administrator is a
Technology Coordinator or someone
comfortable with using a technology program.
The Administrator is responsible for:
1. Requesting the account for each site or
sites (see directions below).
2. Setting up teacher accounts in EssayScorer
once the program is available.
3. Forwarding teacher login and account
information to each teacher.
4. Uploading the school roster so teachers can
create their classes. The roster can be
uploaded from an Excel file and/or students
can be manually entered.
If you are the Account Administrator,
please email the information below to
essayscorer@pearson.com. Please indicate
that this is a myPerspectives pilot in the email
message so your request is expedited.

Name, (3) School Name and Address, (4)
Phone Number, and (5) Number of Students
Needing Licenses
You will receive an email with instructions on
how to access EssayScorer within 24-48 hours.

TEACHERS

If you are a teacher, you will receive your

login and access information from your sites
Account Administrator. If you have already
received that information, then you can
begin using EssayScorer immediately!
It is recommended that you bookmark the
URL for easy access to the program.
