    ABSTRACT Canteen Management System

    ABSTRACT

    In this work we demonstrate the instructions for preparing a project for the analysis of efficiency and formulation of a Student Management and counselling System that would run on servers and standalone systems. We use this document as both an instruction set and as a guideline to the development of a Student Management and counselling System. The majority of the work is done on C#, which is an open source. Simultaneously, we have created a database with a few tables. The linkage between the database and web pages has been done using php and queries have been used for showing the appropriate outputs when a request is made by the users or the administrator. In the manual system all the student records are entered manually either by the teacher or some staff .Using this student management system every student and teacher is given a user-id and password using which the student can enroll subjects by himself. He can also check his performance regularly . The teacher also maintains the students record using his/her account. In case of low attendance or marks a mail can be sent by teacher to the student and he can be called for further counselling. It eases work both for the teacher and the student.
