Preparing a shopping list for a picnic

Firstly, teacher presents the topic by using flashcards and presentation.

Students interact with food and drinks as realia that the teacher brings to the
class. Then, teacher will ask students to get into groups and to play taboo
game. In each group, a student tries to describe food and drinks and the
others will try to guess which food and drinks they are. At the end of the
lesson, teacher measures how much students have learned the topic with the
question-and-answer drill. Teacher wants students to prepare a shopping list
for a picnic as homework. If things dont go as planned, teacher prints out the
materials and gives them to the students as handouts.
