B. What is the Tanging Yaman of the Filipinos that the film is trying to tell us? (Not
less than 50 words)
Based from what I analyzed from the film, I can say that the Tanging Yaman
is the value of family. It is telling us to stop the quarrels that happen among
siblings whenever there is an issue with their birthright, or their land share,
especially with their inheritance. It also tells us not to carry over the hard feelings
of the second generation to the third generation because they have no fault in
this.

C. What are the three characteristics of a Christian family? (Reference: CL 3

Textbook Called to Follow Christ in True Freedom, pp. 178 182) not less than
50 words each characteristic.
1. The Christian Family as a Covenant Relationship
The very essence of a family that should hold a family together is love
and not anything else. The love we share within our families and the love our
parents have for one another are images of Gods own love. It is in and
through Gods covenantal love that our families can truly become an intimate
community of life and love.
2. The Christian Family as a Domestic Church
Every Christian family is called to be the foundation of the whole
church, strengthened by Christs teaching and example. Like the Church,
every Christian family must reflect the life of God, who is Himself a loving
communion of three divine persons. As such, the Christian family is marked
by the Fathers creativity, the Sons self-sacrificing love, and the Holy Spirits
empowering grace.
3. The Christian Family as the First and Vital Cell of Society
The family is the most basic community upon which society builds
itself. This means that the family is the necessary unit through which citizens
are born and multiply in number. But more precisely, a family is the vital cell of
society because it is where individuals are nurtured and tailored to become
good and productive members of society.
