VERB

A verb (v) is a word or group of words that describes an action or a non-action


ACTION VERB
Description
An action verb tells us what a person or
thing does.
e.g. drink, eat

EXAMPLE
Marina works in a university.

The students eat breakfast every morning.
(v)

NON- ACTION VERB


Description
A be verb tells us how and what a
person or thing is
e.g. is, are, am (present tense)
was, were (past tense)

EXAMPLE
The chair is broken.
(v)
The children were sad.
(v)
Pulau Langkawi, Pulau Pangkor and Pulau
Tioman are islands.
(v)
