REINFORCEMENT
An airport is a station or terminal located on flat land that has runways, facilities and services for aircraft traffic. Airports allow passenger or cargo aircraft to take off
and land, in addition to providing fuel and maintenance. The most important airports have several paved runways more than a kilometer long, auxiliary streets,
warehouses, maintenance hangars, boarding terminals and parking aprons.
It is popularly known that, in 1903, the Wright brothers, Orville and Wilburg,
made the first flight in history in an airplane in North Carolina, USA. This
flight took off from an esplanade that had nothing to do with an airport of
course. Years later, in 1909, the same protagonists mentioned above
launched the project that is considered the first airport in the world. So what
was the first airport in the world? Located in Maryland, near the American
capital, College Park Airport (which is still operational) became this first
airport, consisting at that time of a runway marked with lime, some hangars
with fuel tanks and a rather primitive platform where they boarded. the
passengers.
Nowadays, almost any airport have an airport terminal, that is a building where passengers transfer from ground
transportation and the facilities they contain to boarding and disembarking from aircraft. Inside the terminal, passengers
purchase tickets, check in their luggage, and go through security checks. Buildings that give direct access to the plane
(through doors) are commonly known as departure lounges. However, the terms "terminal" and "departure hall" are
sometimes used interchangeably, depending on the configuration of the airport. Also, we can find various types of
stores, restaurants and even places to rest and relax like an spa. In Venezuela the most important airport is
"Aeropuerto Internacional Simón Bolívar", located in Maiquetía, La Guaira State.
Inner the facilities of an airport we can find some services that are shown below:

Now ere comes the boom. Think about a time in your past, perhaps your adolescence or childhood, and describe what you were like at that time. Use verbs other
than "to be" if you need to, but keep everything in the past tense. You have an example in the answers section at the end.
EXAMPLE: As a child, I was very shy. I did not like to play with other children and I was always alone. My parents were worried about me, but I think I was happy that way, with my pictures and my imagination. I was always
making up stories and drawing them. Maybe that was why I became an illustrator later. I was not interested in school at all, but I managed to get good marks, and all my teachers were very impressed and said I was
exceptionally smart. I don’t know if they were right, but I did very well in high school and university later on.
