SCOPE

4.1

Scope Of Works
This specification covers the supply of materials and construction of
precast concrete open drains, roadside scupper drains, underground pipe
culverts and sumps including mild steel gratings, step-irons, rubble pitching
and testing on completion for the site drainage system.

4.1.1

Conformity With Code Of Practice

Materials, workmanship and installation shall conform to CP301 and
CP308. All drainage work also be executed in accordance with the rules
and regulations of the Local Authority which has control over such matters.
It shall be entirely the contractor's responsibility to comply with all the
formalities of the Local Authority and rate quoted by the contractor is
deemed to include the same.

4.2
