responsible for completing one of the options provided.

novel. (use toys/pictures or
puppets as characters)
2. Create a long poem or rap (20
lines or more) about the novel.
3. Present a series of monologues (35) of different characters and their
point of view on issues in the
novel.
4. Create a commercial of a T.V. Movie
based on the novel. (You have to
speak in it)
5. Choose music to accompany an
oral reading of a section of your
book. Explain why you choose that

Writing (Length: One Page double spaced)

1. Write a letter to the main character
about his or her problem and give
advice.
2. Write a diary entry response to an
event in the book from one of the
characters point of view
3. Write a letter to the author of the
novel. In the letter explain why you
like or dislike the novel.
4. Write any kind of poem about your
novel. (Min. 16 lines)
5. Explain why you would like to have
one of the characters as a friend.
6. Pretend that you're the author and
describe the part that was the most
fun or hardest to write. Explain why.
7. Describe an experience you've had
that was like the experience of a
character in the novel.
Media (Pick One)
1. Draw a colour map of where a major
part of the story takes place. Label
the major landmarks or points of
interest.
2. Prepare a travel brochure for the
area of your book.
3. Make a time line of the events in the
life of the main character.
4. Create a diorama of a scene from the
novel
5. Create a 5-6 slide comic of events
from the novel
6. Design a new cover for your book.
