they explore attacking and defending and develop their spatial awareness. They will also participate in modified striking and fielding games. During this
unit they will develop their hand eye coordination and timing. They will also explore tactical ways to score more points, and how to work as a team to
prevent the opposition from scoring.
Students will: In art lessons we will be linking with the concepts of connection, causation and change. The focus will be drawing and sculpture.
Central Idea: Artists represent movement in artworks in both 2 and 3 dimensions
Lines of Inquiry: Movement can be shown on a flat surface. Movement can used as the inspiration to create art and become part of an artwork

Students will: be learning how to us the library computer system to locate books of interest and books that relate specifically to the UOI. They will
complete personal pieces of work, in picture form and written form to reinforce their learning and understanding of the UOI for their portfolio. Students will
watch short video that relate to their UOI and share ideas and information in group discussions. Students will be encouraged to find books of personal
interest using their browser card. They will begin to learn how to scan their own books out of the library - focusing on taking responsibility for library
materials.
