: TEXT, DTEXT, TEXTSTYLES AND DIMENSION

OBJECTIVES

: Students will be able to:-

1. Use TEXT and DTEXT commands.


2. Change the properties of text styles.
3. Set the dimension style by referring to icon format.
4. Set a suitable scale for geometry, format and annotation from Dimension style..
5. Draw accurately the objects given..
LIST OF EQUIPMENT :
1. Desktop computer/ laptop
2. AutoCAD software
PROCEDURES

1. Draw a frame with scale 100X100.


2. Draw the object by referring to the scale given.
3. Use suitable command such as:
a. Circle
b. Offset
c. Fillet
d. Trim
e. Dimension
4. Make sure suitable Object Snap is always used.
5. From VIEW>TOOLBARS, select the dimension option.
6. Set a suitable scale for geometry, format and annotation
