History :
Before starting my respective topic I will introduce in front of you short history of
Emotional intelligence;

 The term Emotional intelligence was first coined by two psychologists “Peter
Salovey” and “John Mayer” in 1990, they defined it as;

“The ability to monitor one's own and others' feelings and emotions, to
discriminate among them and to use this information to guide one's thinking and
actions."
 In 1995, that term reappeared in the book “Emotional Intelligence” which was
written by “Daniel Goleman” a “Science journalist and psychologist” and also
regarded as bestseller of that year. After the publishing of that book “ Emotional

Intelligence” become the most debated topic of that year. In that book “Daniel
Goleman” defined the Emotional Intelligence as;
“A capacity for recognising our own and others' feelings, for motivating
ourselves, and for managing our emotions, both within ourselves and in our
relationships.”
