Chart Rounds Verification Form*

Date: 12/16/15
How many cases were discussed?
20 cases
What is one thing you learned during chart rounds?
I learned that the Sister Mary Joseph nodule is a metastatic lesion
involving the umbilicus. In this case it was related to a patient with
prostate cancer, but it is also associated with stomach, ovary, colon,
and pancreatic cancers.

What is one thing you already knew that was discussed at chart
rounds?
I already knew that soft tissue sarcomas often re-appear in the
lungs. We had a patient that finished treatment 6 months ago that
has soft tissue sarcoma. She is now back for treatment of a mass in
her lungs.
