Have you ever been to the Netherlands? Because I have been finding out a lot about
this country.I have found out stuff like cool facts, education, and food.So buckle your seat belts,
here we go! To the Netherlands!

Geography
The Netherlands is bordered by Germany to the east and Belgium to the
south.Ijsselmeer, Eemmeer, veerplas, and Markermeer are some lakes in the Netherlands. It
rains a ton in the Netherlands. Some people carry umbrellas everywhere they go.
Resources
They grow a lot of grains, cucumbers, potatoes, tomatoes. sugar beets, beef, lamb,
pork, and poultry in the Netherlands. Some of their industries fishing, metal and engineering,
and chemicals. Some of their resources are peat, limestone, and salt.
Culture
Dutch and Frisian are their official languages. About 50% of the Dutch are Christian.
About 42% none, about 5.8% muslim, about 2.2% are other. Some of the most popular in the

Netherlands are cheese licorice, snert, pofferties, hutspot, and smoked sausage. They some
wear wooden shoes. The others wear jeans, t-shirts, and sweaters. Queens day, Christmas,
and Easter are some of their holidays and festivals.
For Fun
Some people like to play sports in their free time. A lot play soccer or tennis. Some
people like to go cycling. Some like to go shopping.

Tourism
The Dom Tower of Utrecht is the largest church in the Netherlands, at 112.5 metres in
height. For more than two years Anne Frank and her family lived annex of the building at
Prinsengracht 263 where Annes father, Otto Frank, had his business. The Van Pels and Fritz
Pfeffer hid with them. Grote of Sint Laurenskerk is a protestant church in rotterdam. It is the only
remnant of the medieval city of Rotterdam.
