Atlanta bypass, I-285, during rush hours as traffic can be very heavy going through the I-75/I-85
downtown corridor. You can call 511 from any phone within Georgia to reach the GA DOT traffic
recordings, or listen to 750AM for up to the minute reports.

From the South (I-I75 Northbound toward Atlanta- 25 Minutes)

Merge onto I-675 N via EXIT 227 toward I-285 E. for 10 miles
Merge onto I-285 East toward AUGUSTA/GREENVILLE
Travel on I-285 for 15.36 miles
Take the GA-236/Lavista Rd. exit (Exit 37) toward Tucker
On the exit ramp stay towards the left to make a left turn onto Lavista Rd/GA-236
After 3/10 of a mile, make a right turn onto Ranchwood Dr. NE
The Holiday Inn is on your left.

From Atlanta Hartsfield Airport Rental Car Center (40 Minutes)

Drive out Rental Car Center Bridge

At traffic light make a left turn onto Crosswind Road
Turn left at South Terminal Parkway – heading West
Continue onto Airport Blvd (5/10 mile)
Turn right at Riverdale Rd for 3/10 mile
Turn right onto the ramp to I-285 E
Continue on I-285 E for 20+ miles
Take the GA-236/Lavista Rd. exit (Exit 37) toward Tucker
On the exit ramp stay towards the left to make a left turn onto Lavista Rd/GA-236
After 3/10 of a mile, make a right turn onto Ranchwood Dr. NE
The Holiday Inn is on your left.

Alternate Route: If missed exit or traffic alert advises using I-75 North through town ONLY.
Continue through downtown Atlanta on I-75. Shortly after I-20 exit you will want to be in the LEFT lanes
for I-85 North. Exit Shallowford Rd (Exit 93) Go Right. At second light, road ends- go Left on Briarcliff Rd.
Briarcliff merges with Lavista near the mall. Stay Left. Make 1st Left onto Ranchwood Dr. Holiday Inn will
be on your left.
From the North I-I75 Southbound toward Atlanta- 25 Minutes)

From I-75 S take the I-285 Bypass East exit (Exit 259) toward Greenville/Augusta
Travel 15.8 miles on I-285
Merge onto Lavista Rd/GA-236 W via Exit 37 (take the right lane to merge onto Lavista Rd South)
At 4/10 mile turn right onto Ranchwood Drive NE
The Holiday Inn is on your left.

Continue through downtown Atlanta on I-75, you will want to be in the LEFT lanes for I-85 North. Go
slowly- sharp curve! Follow I-85 North to Shallowford Rd (Exit 93) Go Right. At second light, road ends-
go Left on Briarcliff Rd. Briarcliff merges with Lavista near the mall. Stay Left. Make 1st Left onto
Ranchwood Dr. Holiday Inn will be on your left.
