Journal 3:

Experiences of the third day:

1. Last week Ms. Carol asked me to choose a topic
to practice teaching it next week, and I choose
reading a story. I wasnt prepared and practiced for
it, so I was quite nervous. But the teacher helped
me a lot. She read the first part and asked them
questions to show me how to read with them. I
read the story with the students, and she said
Well done these two words motivated me so much
and gave me the confidence to teach again.
2. While the teacher was reading the first part of
the story, she let a student called Khalfan to sit
beside me because he needs some help in reading.
I pointed his finger to each word and read it with
him because this way will develop his skills in
reading a lot. It was an enjoyable experience in
helping other people to learn. And I think he
benefited from me.
Principals treating with people:
Actually, I didnt ever see a principal like Choueifat
Schools principal. She is really a remarkable
woman. Whenever Moza and I ask her for help, she
help us immediately. On Tuesday, we wanted to
take photos for the mathematical materials for task
3. She took us to the store and brought us some
materials and organized it so we can take good
photos of them. She is helpful. Although she is an
old woman, she always gets up from her place to
help people. I really liked her so much, and I would
be a helpful teacher like her in the future.
