Graham Moore scored a last minute equalizer on his debut for both Cardiff City and Wales, though it was his only international goal. He helped Cardiff promote to Division One and later left for Chelsea in 1961. Moore then helped Chelsea promote back to Division One before joining Manchester United. However, he received limited playing time at Manchester United and joined Northampton Town for more opportunities. After two relegations with Northampton, Moore joined Charlton Athletic where he played for three seasons and earned a recall to the Wales national team. He finished his career at Doncaster Rovers and later became a publican in Scarborough and York.

Graham Moore achieved a unique double for club and
country; he scored a last minute equaliser on his debut for both Cardiff and Wales although it was to be his only international goal in 21 appearances for Wales. He helped Cardiff into division one and then achieved another double. He left Cardiff in December 1961 for Chelsea. Cardiff finished 21st. in the division and were relegated, Chelsea finished 22nd and went with them. He then assisted his new club back into division one before joining Manchester United. Sadly first team opportunities were far and few between at Old Trafford and when Dave Bowen, his Welsh team manager offered him first team football at the County Ground Graham joined the Cobblers. Sadly two relegations in two seasons was enough for the Welshman who declared that he did not want to play in the third division and moved on to Charlton. Despite Newport trying to get him to play FOURTH division football. He gave Charlton three seasons and while there he was recalled for Wales winning his first cap for three seasons. Graham wound down his career with Doncaster before taking up a publicans duty first in Scarborough and later in York. His son Darren was on Northamptons books in the late 1990s.
