Module 3 Analysis

In Case 1, what should Norma do next? What leadership styles would you recommend for Norma
so that she can still spearhead the project with the same crew, and the crew also gains a positive
perspective toward all its members? What are some suggestions to ensure the tasks are completed in a
timely manner?
I feel that Norma should asked why they feel that way and how to get a way to cope through
those issues. I feel that Norma would need to use the Authoritative Style in order to keep an group feel to
the project but others able to work at the own. Since they dont want to work with Martha. This way
Norma could keep an eye on everyone. Making sure that Martha is getting enough help and making sure
the others are on topic.
In Case 2, how should George respond to Larry? What leadership style would you recommend
George to adopt so that his crew feels more satisfied with the work allocated and such instances do not
arise again?
He should apologize for his word choice. George should state that he is liking the process and
state that they are doing a great job. Also asked if there is anything he could do to help. George needs to
adopt the role of being a Laissez-faire Leader. He has only gone and placed a few demands of that team;
but should also accept that not everyone works at the same pace. George must accept what has been done
and stay positive for that team.
