Release of All Claims

By participating in the SFU Hiking Club event on _____________, 2016, run by
the SFU Hiking Club executives:
I, _______________________________, being 19 years of age or older, do for
myself (or for and on behalf of my child participant if said child is not 19
years of age or older) release, forever discharge and agree to hold harmless
the Simon Fraser Student Society and the SFU Hiking Club thereof from any
and all liability, claims or demands for personal injury, sickness or death, as
well as property damage and expenses, of any nature whatsoever which may
be incurred while participating in the above-mentioned events and activities
at the ___________________.
By signing this release, I hereby assume all risk of personal injury, sickness,
death, damage, and expense as a result of participation in the abovementioned events and activities.
I HAVE READ AND UNDERSTAND THIS AGREEMENT, AND I AM AWARE THAT
BY SIGNING THIS AGREEMENT I AM WAIVING CERTAIN LEGAL RIGHTS, WHICH
I MAY HAVE AGAINST the Simon Fraser Student Society and the SFU Hiking
Club.
I understand the rules of conduct for participating and will abide by them as
well as the directions of the organizing leaders of these events.
