CINDERELLA
Once upon a time, there was a beautiful girl named Cinderella who dreamed of a
happy life. But it seemed those dreams never come true because of her evil stepmother and ugly
stepsisters, Anastasia and Drizella. Her days were spent doing chores from dawn till dusk. She was a
very hardworking girl but she was bullied by her stepmother and stepsisters.
One fine day, there was an announcement that a grand ball would be held at the
palace. Everyone was invited. The king wanted to find a bride for his son, the prince. Cinderella was
very excited about attending the ball. But unfortunately, her cruel stepmother did not allow her to
follow them.
Cinderella was visited by her fairy godmother later in the evening. With a wave of her
magic wand, she turned a pumpkin into a grand coach, a horse into a coachman and some white
mice into horses. Cinderellas old and dirty clothes became a shimmering gown.She wore a pair of
glass shoes. With that, she was able to attend the ball.
Across the ballroom, the charming prince saw Cinderella. Immediately he asked her to
dance. The sparkling stars and bright moon made Cinderella look prettier and her elegant movements
made the prince fall deeply in love with her.
Suddenly Cinderella remembered that the fairy godmother warned her to be home
before the clock strikes midnight. She quickly ran away from the prince to get out of the palace. As
she was hurrying down the stairs, she lost a glass shoe.
The very next day, all the young girls from the kingdom were asked to try on the glass
shoe. But it was only Cinderellas foot that fit the shoe perfectly. Finally, the prince proposed to
Cinderella to marry him. They married and lived happily ever after.
