That he preferred not to go directly to the Police Station to report the incident

but to secure myself first and to soothe the situation. Then he contacted
his friends regarding the incident. After knowing that it was already
normalized, then he directly went to Police Station 5, Mandurriao, Iloilo
City and reported the said incident.
The respondent vehemently denied the accusation against him and
averred that the credibility of the complainants narration of fact is greatly
tainted with serious flaws. He even alleged that he is physically disabled to
perform the complaint criminal act as his left eye is affected with total
blindness and his right eye is also affected and its vision is covered with
blindness and that as early as January 26, 2014, he has been undergoing eye
treatment.
