fromtheVintageCard.SonowyoucansimplysendthemtoyourJDandhavetheminnormal
accessmode,sincetheywilloccupyUserRAMarea.Downsideis,thehackworksforonly64
patchesatatime.But,astheysay:bettersomethingthannothing.Simplywritedownthe
patchesyoulike/favour,repeatthesamestepforotherthreebanks.ThenusePatchOrganizer

1.OpenthetopcoverofJD990.
2.WiththeJDturnedoff,holddownINC+DECbuttonsthenturnpoweron.
3.Thisshouldgetyouintothetestmode.
4.ThenpressUTILTY+F3.ThisgetsyouintotheMSBAdjustmentpage.
5.Makesurethevolumecontrolisatmaximum.(Watchoutyouspeakers!)
6.Pressthevalueknob,a440hzsinewaveisproduced.
7.Useaninstrumentsuchasanoscilloscopetoobservetheoutputwaveform.Ifyoudont
haveoscilloscope,youcanuseheadphonesandlistencarefullywithyourears.
8.AdjustVR1toobtainasmoothsinewave.
9.TheVR1islocatedonthemainboard,toprightsideofit(ifJDisplacedwithitsfrontside
facingyou).Infactitistheonlytrimmerpotentiometerthere.
