Things can get tough through your life. But even though you are making choices that are bad or good you could be in a position where you
are surviving or even thriving. In this case Bud is using his rules to thrive in life. You can use your rules in your life to thrive also even if you
are going through a tough time or if you are in a position where you a person who is very poor you can use your rules to thrive in your life
like Bud. By bud using his rules in his life he was able to thrive to success. In the novel Bud, not buddy bud uses his rules to thrive.Despite
him being in a foster home, Looking for his father who had left him when he was a little boy, and being an orphan he had still used these
rules to thrive in his life. Even though he had went through some tough times and challenges he had still kept going and had used his rules
to thrive in his life and also including within his journey. By using his own rules Bud was able to thrive in his life and was able to be in a
position where he had thrived to success also including that he had felt that he had gotten far enough that he had felt proud of himself.
Bud uses his rules to thrive in his life
because with his rules he was able to keep going and thrive to success also including that it had
helped him get through some tough times and also including challenges. With his rules he was able to conquer all of the obstacles that had
gotten in his way to see the face of the man who had to be his father. All in all Bud had used his rules to thrive in his life and also within his
journey to find the face of a man who had to be his father.
My first piece of evidence is Buds rule#29 When you wake up and dont know for sure where you are at, and theres a bunch of people

standing around you , it's best to pretend you're asleep until you can figure out what you should do . This rule is found in the novel of Bud
not buddy on page 116 paragraph 4.
Bud had used this rule in the story when he was in a room filled with people after he had woken up
from a bed realizing that he had no idea of where he was at. How bud uses this rule in the story that helps him thrive is that he uses this rule
so that whenever he comes across this situation ever again he would know exactly what to do.
This might seem like survive rule because
during the events from the story it shows that bud had wanted to go to bed so that he could have a better understanding of what is going
on but it might seem like a survive rule because it could be used in a case where he wanted to get away with something like if something
was threatening him or like if he had wanted to get away with something in order to survive which basically means to stay alive. However, in
this example Bud is using his rule to thrive in life so that he can conquer any challenges that come in his way but by using his rules it can
help him thrive to success.
When Bud was going back to sleep trying to get a better understanding of things,it shows that he is using the
rule to thrive because so that if he ever comes across this situation again he would know exactly what to do. He is thriving by using this
rule because it can help him get through some times where it can help him grow and also including develop also that when he comes


across this situation he would know whats coming and what would be the best thing to do if he had ever came across this situation ever
again.

My second piece of evidence is Buds rule#3 If you got to tell a lie make sure its simple and easy to remember. This rule is found in the
novel of Bud not buddy on page 11 paragraph 10.
How bud uses the rule in the story is that he uses this rule when he is in a desperate
situation such as events from the story that had formed this rule to Bud is when he had almost had gotten in trouble by Mrs. Amos when
Todd had told his mother a lie about Bud so that he could get into trouble be had used this rule to get through that time which makes it a
successful rule that Bud uses wisely. What this shows about Bud is that he uses his rule for good things that could help him out when he is
in a desperate situation that he needs to go through by or pass by.
This might seem like thrive because it this rule could be considered as
a rule to stay alive such as when you are in a situation where you need to escape something then in that cause you would use that rule in
order to stay alive so this rule could be considered as a survive rule only in some cases like that but I mostly agree that this would be
considered as a thrive rule but in some cases it could be considered as a survive rule However, in this example Bud using his rule to thrive
How bud is thriving is that he is using his own rule to help him through good times which in fact that his rules are very successful which
means that he is thriving. What Buds rules do is that they help him keep going through his life so that in the future he would know exactly
what to do in order to thrive. His rules help him thrive to success we help him when he is in need in some situations. By using these rules it
can help Bud thrive to success.
My third piece of evidence is Buds rule # 39 The older you get , the worse something has to be to make you cry. This piece of evidence
is found in the novel Bud, not Buddy on page 219 paragraph 1.
Bud used this rule when he was in a position where he had found out the
Herman E Calloway was his Grandpa that had included shocking news that had brang shades of tears to Buds grandpa. How Bud uses
the rule in the novel is that he uses them when he is in a position that includes shocking news. Such as events that had formed this rule to
Bud was when he had figured out that Herman E calloway was Buds grandpa.
This might seem like survive because this rule could be
used to stay alive such as you could use this rule when in a case where you have to stay alive when you get older the more you cry which
means that you can cry as hard as you can in order to stay alive. However, in this example Bud using his rule to thrive.
When Bud had seen
that his Grandpa was crying because of his death of his daughter,
it shows that he is using the rule to thrive because such as in one case that if he ever comes across any type of situation like this again he
would be able to know straight away of what is going to happen. Another reason why this rule is helping him to thrive is because this rule is
helping him to grow and develop his life in a way that he exactly know whats going on when it comes to these types of situations.

_Bud had used his rules to thrive in his life. Because with his rules he was able to get through some tough and challenging times. Without
his rules he wouldnt able to be in a position where he is now. With his rules he can be able to keep on going through his life even if
something comes in the way of Bud not being able to accomplish his goals. Buds rules is very important to him because they help him get


through obstacles but with his rules he can over conquer them. BUd uses these rules to live by so that it can help him keep on going
through his life and to thrive to success.
All in all Bud has used his rules to thrive in life so that he could thrive to success.
