Scout. My project was to build a handicap bathroom and our local cemetery, there
were no facilities. This required installing a septic system, plumbing, electrical,
building structure, acquiring all permits from city and county. Arranging for
contractors that assisted, also organizing and managing the volunteer labor from the
community. I had to solicite donated funds and materials, also send thank you notes.

I have strong ties to my local community, I occasionally attend outings with the Boy Scouts
leaders to help with younger boys.
I often help my family and the church with service projects to help others in the community
in need.
I was raised on family farm and learned to irrigate, harvest and plant fields, also to care for
and handle animals.
