You need to know...Galilee Bible Camp currently has only

SIX (6) monthly donors!
Thats not a typo! That is 6 checks totaling
$235 each month to run this entire camp!
THIS IS NOT SUSTAINABLE!
We keep our summer camp costs low ($80-$100 per week) to enable more children in our area
to attend. This amount does not even cover camper cost.
Of about 100 people here at any given camp: 30 are staff that do not pay and 30 are campers
here on a Campership (simply our way of letting children come to camp for free if their family can
not afford to send them).
Our rentals profit next to nothing after paying the expenses of hosting them.
Our retreats barely break even after paying a speaker, food, insurance, electricity, etc.
That doesnt sound like good business sense, does it? But we are NOT A BUSINESS!
We COULD solve our problem by charging $250 for a camper to come to summer camp, $150 for an
adult to come to a retreat, and $1000/night for a group to rent the camp.
However, GBC has existed since 1958 with the goal to reach the local children first and foremost.
These are the very children that without Galilee Bible Camp would not hear the Gospel and without
low fees and Camperships could not attend.
Maybe everyone thinks that everyone else is taking care of this? SIX people are taking care of this.
And that is not enough! It doesnt take a lot...this newsletter hits the hands of 750 families.
If EVERY family gave $20/month (less than one family fast food meal)
then we could not just sustain, but GROW!
It gives us great joy to hear people talk about what GBC means to thembut the cold, hard, worldly
truth is YOUR support is what allows GBC to be everything that it is.
Please help us continue being a tool for God to bring children and adults closer to Him and learn
about a salvation relationship.
