Studio Focus
The aim of this studio session will be to record a bank of experimented guitar, piano, vocal,
tambourine/percussion sounds. The initial session was intended for drums, but due to band
commitments the chosen drummer is not able to fulfil this and for this reason, I have decided to
record the aforementioned instruments.
Up until this point, the plan was to create initial ideas via MIDI in Logic X and to then transform/rerecord these ideas with real instruments. Although to truly create and produce the musical project
intentions, it feels necessary to record the instruments within an external studio space, in order to
use analog recording facilities and capture the essence of what this project focuses on.

This session will involve experimentation with various guitar pedal effects, as well as using
available effect racks; reverbs, amps, compressors, gates.
