EDUCATION (SGDT5013)

ARTICLE REVIEW
The journal focuses about teachers view and their suggestions effective use
of technology in classrooms. This journal is interesting because I as a teacher can
know better about other teachers view about effective use of technology in
classrooms.

In this journal, qualitative research method was applied. Types of qualitative


research method that used were focus group interview and observation. The
samples are 21 elementary school teachers. There 11 elementary school teachers
and 10 were field teachers.

The data was collected based on qualitative research method. The research
data was analysed based on three phase. The first phase is the records of the focus
group interviews were transcribed and analysed. Second phase considering the
themes determined within the scope of theoretical framework. Finally, the third phase
findings obtained were first analysed and then interpreted. \

As a findings for the research the problems regarding technology use,


teachers thought that problems occurred due to lack of their technology use
efficacies and due to their failure to keep up with technology. As a suggestion from
this research, most of the teachers think they should be given additional courses or
training to overcome this problems.

This journal helps me to know better about most of the teachers view about
technology use in the classroom. I got some knowledge to improve my technology
understanding based on this research.
