Q3B Pharmacy
Communication Skills is the subject that helps us
conquer our fears in pharmacy counseling. There are still
some of us in class that cant talk to a stranger, letting
them quake in fear that they will counsel them wrong but
through you, Maam Leah Malapitan, you helped us in
conquering that said fear. With your help, I am sure that
we can counsel our patients with the grace and dignity.
Thank you Maam Leah.
Through the activities in Communication Skills I
learned that even body language has its own use. We can
know what they are feeling when you watch them closely.
For example, if their hands are shaking, then it would
mean the patient is scared. We also learn about using
medical terms in patients. Not all of us are students or
graduates of medical school, it is our job to tell them in
an orderly fashion what we are talking about. For
example, instead of saying Antihypertensive, we could
say Blood Pressure. We also did plays about background
noise or hindrance in understanding when talking to your
pharmacist. Hope that everyone had a good time in
CommSkills.
