Introduction

1.1

Foreword

This User Manual describes the iCOM Control System. It contains information concerning the architectures
of the control systems as well as the settings required to obtain the desired behavior of the Unit.
The iCOM System will effectively manage all the different functions of Liebert-Hiross air conditioning units.
In the following sections first the Hardware, and later the Software (Firmware) are explained in detail.

Hardware

2.1

iCOM I/O boards

The iCOM I/O boards are microprocessor-based electronic boards, which are able to manage the devices
and the sensors installed in the unit.
iCOM I/O boards are installed in the electrical panel of indoor-units together with a simple user-interface
module (3 Digits Display), which allows to read/set/reset values, parameters and alarms.
Please note that there are 2 different iCOM I/O boards:
iCOM Large Board, suitable to drive double compressor units.
iCOM Medium Board, suitable to drive single compressor and chilled water units.

iCOM THB

The temperature / humidity board (iCOM THB) is supplied on all systems with iCOM controls. The cable is
plugged into Plug P67 (or P66) on the iCOM Board and transmits information using CAN (Controlled Area
Network) communication. Troubleshooting is accomplished by observing a LED located on the THB (DS1).
If the LED is continuously switched on the communication is established. If the LED is blinking, no data are
sent to the board. In that case the addressing and / or the termination have to be checked (see table iCOM
THB DIP-Switch and Jumper settings).

3.1

Communication protocols

Both boards, the large and the small board, can utilize various communication protocols:

3.1.1

U2U (unit to unit) communications

These are 2 so called Master Communications. The master communication allows the communication from
board to board, as well as from board to the system display.
a) Global Bus Protocol (via Ethernet)
b) Hirobus Master
There are parameters in the 3 Digits Display as well as in the large Coldfire display to preset the
communication type.
The Global Bus Protocol is the main protocol for iCOM Boards and iCOM Displays; Hirobus is the Protocol
used by Hiromatic E and Microface E.
In mixed installations one iCOM Board can be set to be the Converter between these two protocols, to
make it possible to communicate between iCOM components and Microface E and Hiromatic E.
See chapter 3.2.3 on page 25.

3.1.2

Internal devices communications

These are 2 so called Slave Communications. The slave communication allows the board to communicate
with its local devices, such as sensors, 3 Digits Display, extension boards for humidifier, navigator etc.
a) CAN Bus
b) Hirobus Slave
CAN Bus and Hirobus Slave are always available in parallel, independent of the U2U communication
method.

3.1.3

Monitoring Communications

Both iCOM Boards provide a Hironet connection (RS485), with the same data-points as the Microface
Control System. iCOM Boards identify themselves as being a Microface, therefore all Hirolink types, which
are compatible to a Microface are compatible to an iCOM Board too.
The iCOM Coldfire displays do not provide a monitoring connection.

Unit to Unit Communication: Master Bus

Unit to Unit Communication: Global Bus Protocol

Up to 16 iCOM Boards and 16 iCOM Displays can be connected into a private (no connection to the
outside world) Ethernet network.
iCOM Boards: The IP Address, the Netmask address, the Gateway address, the U2U Address and the U2U
group have to be checked / set according chapter 4.1.7, The 3 Digits Display Communication Parameters
on page 37, using the 3 Digits Display or an iCOM Display.
iCOM Displays: The IP Address, the Netmask address, the Gateway address, the U2U Address and the U2U
group have to be checked / set according table System/Network Setup on page 53. The settings can be
done directly using the iCOM Display.
3.2.1.1 Connection via Crossed Ethernet Cable
Two devices (2 iCOM Boards or 1 iCOM Board + 1 iCOM Display) can be connected using a crossed
Ethernet cable, see Figure 23 GBP using a crossed Ethernet cable (max cable length is 50 meters). The
display can be powered through CAN or through an external power supply.
Note: the units are shipped out of the factory using the crossed cable connection between board and iCOM
Display. If a connection via switch has to be done, this cable has to be removed and replaced with a straightthrough Ethernet cable.

Groups function
All units, which are interconnected inside the same LAN, will communicate to each other, if they have the
same IP settings (example: 192.168.1.x). This will create problems when multiple rooms have to be
connected to the same LAN, and the IP Addresses are inside the same range.
There are 2 possibilities to split the rooms between each other:
Physical disconnection, using 2 switches
The groups function: each iCOM Board / iCOM Display has, in addition to the IP settings, also a
group number (default = 1). To split the rooms it is only necessary to set the group parameter on units which
belong to room #2 to 2. Units of different groups will not communicate to each other even if connected into
the same LAN the group function is like to separate the components physically.
Note:

the IP Addresses of all connected devices need to be unique no double numbers of IP Addresses
are allowed
the U2U Addresses start with 1 within each group, in the same way as the two groups would be
physically disconnected.

No communication between Group 1 and Group 2

3.2.2

Unit to Unit Communication: Hirobus Master

Only Microfaces and Hiromatic can be connected together using the Hirobus Master. iCOM products
CANNOT communicate using Hirobus Master, for mixed network see next chapter.

3.2.3

Unit to Unit Communication: mixed Hirobus and GBP (Ethernet)

This type of U2U network can be established to combine iCOM Boards, iCOM Displays, Microfaces E and
Hiromatics E into one common U2U network. Up to 16 control boards (mixed between iCOM Boards and
Microfaces) and 16 displays (mixed between iCOM Displays and Hiromatics) can be interconnected through
this GBP / Hirobus Bus-system.
This Bus-system will be GBP (Ethernet) for all iCOM parts and Hirobus Master for Microfaces and
Hiromatics. In the middle of these 2 Buses an iCOM control Board will play the role of a converter: its U2U
setting must be set to "# [means Converter] using the 3 Digits Display or using an iCOM Display; all other
iCOM components have to be set to %; all Microfaces and Hiromatics communicate through Hirobus
(this is the default, non-changeable U2U protocol for such devices). See 4.1.7, The 3 Digits Display
Communication Parameters on page 37.
The Converter Board (besides its normal role to control the air-conditioner) communicates both in GPB and
Hirobus, and translates the GBP information into Hirobus, and vice-versa.
Note 1: ONLY 1 board inside a network can be set as Converter (Con); a network can consist of ONE
Hirobus communication part, of ONE GBP communication part, and the Converter in the middle.
Note 2:
Microface and Hiromatic need to have specific Eproms with the indication LX at the end of the version
number. See chapter 2.6,
Spare Parts List on page 21.
Note 3: The addresses of the boards can be selected as requested, important is to have a consecutive
numbering, w/o holes - but there is no restriction which unit has which number depending on the selected
U2U communication method. Microface E and iCOM Boards have to be addressed as described in the
previous two chapters.
Note 4:
Hiromatics E will take the U2U Address automatically, starting from 33. iCOM Displays (which need a
manual address setting) shall be numbered starting from 64 downwards, to avoid conflicts with Hiromatics.
Note 5:
Restrictions in cable-length remain the same as described for each protocol type in the previous two
chapters (Hirobus cable total length: 300 meters, GBP Ethernet cable: max. 50 meters)

Set 'NO' if the iCOM Board will transmit data to the Hirolink,
without accepting commands from Hirolink. Set 'YES' if also
commands (Setpoint changes etc.) shall be accepted from
Hirolink.
The time delay, in seconds, between the power on and the start

Temperature, Temp. Proportional Band and Temp. Integration
Factor to decide the cooling or heating status.
The humidity of the air desired in the room. It is the reference
value used by iCOM, together with Return Air Humidity,

decide the hum or Dehum status.
If enabled, the control respects the psychometric relation
between temperature and humidity. Reading the actual
temperature the relative humidity Setpoint will be recalculated.
A low limit for the Supply Air Temperature. The air conditioning
unit will try to always keep the Supply Air Temperature greater
than the value set in this parameter. If set to a value different
from NO a NTC sensor must be installed inside the unit (or near
it) in the supply air flow path. To decide its cooling status, iCOM
uses the lower between a) the deviation of Return Air
Temperature from Temperature Setpoint and b) the deviation of
Supply Air Temperature from Supply Air Setpoint. Note: Supply
Limit is capable to reduce the opening of dampers or valves, but
will never stop a compressor. (Exception: the 2nd compressor
in a twin compressor unit will not start if the supply temperature
is already too low, but it will not be stopped if it becomes too low
once started).
A second Setpoint value for the air temperature of the room. It
is used when at least one User Input is set as 2nd SETP
(Second Setpoint) and the switch on the corresponding input of
iCOM is open.
This parameter is used by iCOM to regulate the speed of the
fan during normal operation when an analogue output of iCOM
is used to drive the fan. (The corresponding analogue output
must be assigned to Fanspeed).
This parameter gets automatically 50% as minimum value when
the energy saving function is enabled
This parameter is used by iCOM to regulate the speed of the
fan during Dehum operation; when an analogue output of iCOM
used to drive the fan. (The corresponding analogue output must
be assigned to Fanspeed).
This parameter is used by iCOM to regulate the speed of the
fan during NoPower operation when an analogue output of
iCOM used to drive the fan. (The corresponding analogue
output must be assigned to Fanspeed).
This parameter is used by iCOM to define the minimum
fanspeed when the energy saving function is active.
This value is always kept when the cascade operating mode is
used and the defined units are in standby mode. The limit is
shifted to calculated value (between Min and max) 10 minutes
after that all units are ON.
The signal is forced to 50% as minimum value when the heating
or humidifier device is active
(The corresponding analogue output must be assigned to
Fanspeed).
This parameter is used by iCOM to define the maximum
fanspeed when the energy saving function is active.

started. If set to YES, rotation will be done every 24 hours,
counted from the last power on of unit #1.
Setting this parameter will start the standby unit(s) not only in
case of an alarm on an active unit, but also in case of
increasing and/or decreasing of temperature and/or humidity to
assist the active unit(s).
NOTE: Cascade settings force Teamwork 1!
Possible Settings:
#": cascade function not active
2(: active with both temperature(cooling/heating) and humidity
(humidification/de-humidification)
2(: active only for temperature (cooling/heating)
1(: active only for cooling
Allows to perform a group units rotation
When set to 'YES' the system is forced to perform one rotation
of the standby units. Working only when 'Rotation Frequency' is
not set to 'NO'.
When set to Yes all standby units are activated in case of High

EEAP CONNECTED

This parameter changes automatically to YES if EEAP is

connected. This parameter is read only.
According to the value set for this parameter (both inputs have
the same selection possibilities) iCOM will take some actions
when the switch connected to the corresponding input of iCOM
is open:
# nHumi': the humidification is disabled
# nComp': the compressor(s) disabled
$ WARNING': a Warning is generated (the unit continue its
operations)
% ALARM': an alarm is generated (the unit stops its
operations)
&( 2nd Setpoint': the reference value for Return Air
Temperature regulation switches to Temp. Setpoint 2
#"% No Power': everything is stopped except Fans and
Freecooling function
#, Not Used': iCOM will not take any action on User Input
opening.
& LSI': self-setting on UI2 when a std. internal humidifier is
selected.
#: The humidification and heating are disabled
These parameters define the operating mode of the unit.
WARNING: wrong setting of these parameters may cause false
alarms as well as serious damage of the unit. For correct setting
please refer to the following table:

hardware update only.
NOTE: 'YES' jumps back to 'NO' (it behaves as a 'push button').
T-PROPORTIONAL BAND T- Normally best results will be reached if the 'AUTOSET' is
INTEGRATION FACTOR
enabled. The Proportional Band is divided in two equal parts,
one part for cooling, and one part for heating (hysteresis).
Inside this hysteresis there are the different components
(compressors, heaters), which share the width of the hysteresis.
If Teamwork Mode 1 is selected, the P-Band belongs to the
whole system.
NOTE: Too small P-Band will cause the bad control quality
(hunting).
Integration Factor: If set to any value, the PI control is enabled.
The integration factor doubles the actual, real deviation from the
Setpoint within the selected time. This will force cooling/heating
to add more steps to reach the Setpoint. To be used if P-Band
must be wide because of bigger number of units connected,
and working in Teamwork 1.
H-PROPORTIONALBAND
Normally best results will be reached if the 'AUTOSET' is
H-INTEGRATION FACTOR
enabled. Proportional Band is divided in two equal parts, one
part for Dehum. , one part for Hum. (Hysteresis). Inside this
Hysteresis there are the different Components (Humidifier etc.),
which share the width of the Hysteresis. If Teamwork Mode 1 is
selected, the P-Band belongs to the whole System. NOTE: Too
small P-Band will cause the bad Control Quality (Hunting).
Integration Factor: If set to any value, the PI control is enabled.
The integration factor doubles the actual, real deviation from the
Setpoint within the selected time. This will force Hum / Dehum
to add more steps to reach the Setpoint. To be used if P-Band
must be wide because of bigger number of units connected,
and working in Teamwork 1.
AUTOSET
If set Yes the iCOM control defines the value of proportional
band according to the cooling steps available
HEATING STEPS
It defines the number of heating steps
HOT WATER OR HOT GAS
It defines the type of re-heating; Hot Water or Hot Gas
HEATING DEADBAND
The value the heaters shall start later. Means the group of
heaters is shifted with the deadband value to lower
temperatures.
3P.ACT. RUNTIME
Actuators are motors that drive either the Freecooling Damper
or which drive Chilled Water or Freecooling valves. This
parameter is the information for the time necessary from
completely closed to completely open position.
3P.ACT. MIN.OPEN
This parameter guarantees a permanent opening of the
selected percentage, as long as the unit is in operation, even if
the control would like to close the 3P-actuator completely.
HUMIDIFIER ENABLE
Enables / disables the humidifier operation.
NOTE: Setting this parameter to YES makes the control looking
for a humidity sensor. If not present a warning will occur.
HUMIDIFIER MODEL
To be set according the steam cylinder mounted in the air
conditioning unit. If an external humidifier has to be controlled,
this parameter must be set to 'EXT'.
SUPPLY VOLTAGE
The voltage sets automatically after setting the cylinder type.
STEAM RATE
When set to 100% the humidifier will produce the nominal
amount of steam, if set to a lower value the humidifier will
produce less steam according the setting. This is valid for both
operating modes: ON-Off and proportional.
CONTROL
The control behavior of the humidifier:
When set to "#" (ON/OFF) the humidifier will start at the leftend of humidity proportional band at its maximum capacity
(defined with STEAM RATE) and stop when the room humidity
Setpoint is reached.
When set to %*" (proportional), the steam output will be
proportional to the deviation of return air humidity from room
humidity Setpoint.
ACT. HUMIDIFIER CURRENT Shows the actual measured current from the steam cylinder.
DEADBAND
The value the humidifier shall start later. Means the Humidifier
is shifted with the deadband value to lower humidity.

Enables / disables the dehumidification operation. NOTE:

Setting this Parameter to YES makes the control looking for a

#" Dehum performed
2' Dehum performed if required.
& STOP FC: (For Direct FC units): Instead to start the
compressor for Dehum; the FC damper will be closed to avoid
incoming outdoor humidity.
During Dehum operation it could be necessary to reheat. If it is
no problem from the power consumption, put this parameter to
'YES'.
If compressor and heaters may not operate at the same time,
put it to 'NO'.
Defines the return air humidity value at which the
dehumidification will be stopped. It is expressed as percentage
of the full humidity proportional band. (50% means that
dehumidification will be stopped at room humidity Setpoint).
The value the dehumidification shall start later. Means Dehum
starting point is shifted with the deadband value to higher
humidity.
Allows using the digital output of dehumidification for other
purposes, if the dehumidification mode is not required:
(DEHUM): Dehumidification relay used for dehumidification
(Standard)
(WARNING): Relay used as general warning contact (splits
WA and AL on two Relays)
%"" (NO POWER): Relay changes its state if the unit switches
to 'NO POWER' mode.
Enables or disables the sensor. When enabled can be set to
(Warning) (Message only) or to (Alarm) (stops unit in case of
water detection).
LWD value: actual indication from LWD. Should be between 1.4
and 1.6 to be OK.
The value of the difference between the return air temperature
and the outdoor temperature over which (with a hysteresis of+/1.5 C) the unit will enable the Freecooling mode (if there are not
other conditions that disable the Freecooling operation). The
Freecooling mode will be activated when also the condition on
DT Room-Glycol is fulfilled. If set to 'CON', the control expects
to get a command with a switch instead of a temperature
sensor. If set to 'EFC' the unit will not go in Freecooling mode
during normal operation, but only in case of NO POWER'
operation or compressor failure, if the delta is 3 deg C.
(Emergency Freecooling only).
The value of the difference between the return air temperature
and the glycol temperature over which (with a hysteresis of+/1.5 C) the unit will enable the Freecooling mode (if there are not
other conditions that disable the Freecooling operation). The
Freecooling mode will be activated when also the condition on
DT Room-Outdoor is fulfilled. If set to 'CON', the control expects
to get a command with a switch instead of a temperature
sensor.
The Freecooling mode will be stopped when the return
temperature will be greater than room temperature Setpoint
plus Stop FC at Room Set +. If Freecooling is stopped for this
reason, it will be disable for at least one hour. In case of FC+DX
this value is used to active compressor #1. Compressor #2 (on
Twin DF units) is activated 1.5C above this point (see also

D-Scroll to active the digital scroll compressor management; in
this case the related output is automatically used to manage the
condenser fan speed as for I-Variex function; the digital scroll
compressor capacity is done by the digital output 12 (P35 1/5).
The I-Variex and D-Scroll functions becomes independent as
soon as one output is set as D-Scroll and another one is set as
I-Variex; in this case the digital scroll compressor capacity is
managed by the related analog output set as D-Scroll and not
by the digital output.

Use 'AUTOSET AIRFLOW' to set. Depending on the value
assigned to this parameter, iCOM will generate warning or
alarm when the voltage generated by airflow sensor is lower
than the threshold set. If a differential pressure switch is used,
& (SWI) has to be set.
Stop the unit first. Set parameter to 'YES'. The unit will start the
fan for 30 seconds, and then wait 30 seconds with fan off. After
that the value will be set. If a warning appears, there was no
reaction from the airflow device.
Read only analogue value (percentage) that informs about the
airflow speed inside the unit. This value can be taken into
account when setting the Low Airflow At parameter.
Depending on the value assigned to this parameter, iCOM will
stop humidity control and heating only when set to %
(Warning) or will completely stop the Unit when set to %
(Alarm), when the airflow value is lower than the threshold
setting.
The time delay (in minutes) after a start of the compressor(s) in
which the occurrence of a low pressure alarm is ignored. After
this time the low pressure alarm is delayed of approximately 10
seconds.
The compressor is activated after the delay set; this function is
used on those units equipped with interceptor water valve.

when the free cooling is active.
This parameter enables the energy saving function. If set to
Yes than the 3P. actuator is managed within 0 50% of
proportional band and the speed of fan is modulated between
50% to 150% of proportional band (see also & and & )
This parameter defines the 3P actuator control:
%* = both two actuator are managed in parallel
 ( = the 3P actuator 1 or 2 is used according to the %*
parameter
' = the first actuator is managed from 0% to 70% of
proportional band, the second one from 70% to 100%
Enable the rotation between actuator 1 and 2 (only if the %* is
set 1 or 2)
Defines the rotation every x time if the * is enabled
Defines which is the first actuator:
1 = 3P actuator 1 is the first one
2 = 3P Actuator 2 is the first one
Ext = it is defined according to the related digital input (open =
3P1. closed = 3P2)
The calibration allows the user the adaptation of the sensorvalues, using the offset values. The actual value contains
already also the offset.

If set to Yes the devices for temperature and humidity control of

all units which have to be ON will be activated (if required)
within 60 seconds. This function is kept alive for 5 minutes
only then the standard delay management is applied.

How to navigate through the iCOM Display

iCOM displays icons and text for monitoring and controlling your Emerson Network Power cooling units or
network of cooling units. The number of icons and amount of text shown depends on the display type. From
the default menu, the user menu may be accessed by pressing the enter key. When an icon is selected,
iCOM reveals associated items, such as submenus, setpoints, status, thresholds and service data.
Scrolling with the arrow keys reveals the remainder of the icons necessary for controlling your unit or
network.

4.2.3

Accessing menus and settings

When you reach the desired icon, press the enter key. If a menu item has submenus, those are revealed.
If there are no submenus, the function, setting or command-level text is displayed.

A low limit for the Supply Air Temperature. The air conditioning unit will try to always keep the Supply Air Temperature greater than the
value set in this parameter. If set to a value different from NO a NTC sensor must be installed inside the unit (or near it) in the supply air

The temperature of the refrigerant mixture (water or glycol and water) entering the unit. In Freecooling or Dual Fluid units, depending on the
value set in DT Room-Glycol, it is only displayed or used to decide the Freecooling Status of the unit. In Freecooling units it also drives the
analogue output for the Dry-Cooler. Each unit uses its own sensor for control.

-28.0-100.0 C

0,1

A read only value. It is the temperature of the air delivery of the unit. Available only when the corresponding sensor is installed. This value
could influence the control, if Supply Limit is set.

-28.0-100.0 C

0,1

The temperature of the environment outside the room. It is used, together with the Return Air Temperature, to decide the Freecooling status
of the unit. If multiple units are connected via LAN each unit will work with the average of the values read by all sensors. The value
displayed here is this average.

Off, Start, On

Indicates the actual status of the Freecooling mode of the unit. 'START' means that the condition on the outdoor temperature is fulfilled but
other conditions (on glycol temperature. and/or return air temperature) are not yet fulfilled.

The units work in stand-alone, using their own sensors for regulation. This setting must be used in multi-room installations. Set to 1 if the
units shall operate as one system. For control the average T+H of all units in operation is used. All units together are working like one big
unit. Not to be set in multi-zone rooms.
Set to 2 if the units shall operate in stand-alone, but with restrictions from the average T+H. The averages decide, if cooling or heating, hum
or Dehum has to be performed, the units itself decide about according their own sensors. Teamwork setting 2 is a stand-alone mode
operation, but 'mastered' from the average T+H, to avoid competition between the units. To be set in multi-zone or unbalanced rooms.

U2U Group

1-99

The U2U Group parameter defines to which group of units/displays the device belongs to. Using the group functionality, makes it possible

Monitoring Protocol *

S835

iCOM Boards provide a Hironet connection (RS485), with the same data-points as the Microface Control System. iCOM Boards identify
themselves as being a Microface, therefore all Hirolink types, which are compatible to a Microface are compatible to an iCOM Board too.
iCOM Displays do not provide a monitoring connection.
Note: IGM and Velocity are not available.

Gateway
Range

The Gateway has to be the same on all devices in the same LAN.

MAC

This is the read-only MAC address of the display.

U2U Protocol *

The board can communicate in GBP (Global Bus Protocol) or in HB (Hirobus). Hirobus has to be selected if no iCOM Display is inside the
network, and the network has to be established with Hirobus cables only.
GBP can be selected for all iCOM components (Ethernet network); and if also Microfaces or Hiromatics E are inside the network
[connected through Hirobus], one iCOM Board has to play the role of a converter between the 2 protocols: in that case this iCOM Board has
to be set as CON.

Use 'AUTOSET AIRFLOW' to set. Depending on the value assigned to this parameter, iCOM will generate warning or alarm when the
voltage generated by airflow sensor is lower than the threshold set. If a differential pressure switch is used, SWI has to be set.

Autoset Airflow

No, Yes

Stop the unit first. Set parameter to 'YES'. The unit will start the fan for 30 seconds, and then wait 30 seconds with fan off. After that the
value will be set. If a warning appears, there was no reaction from the airflow device.

A131 defines the low pressure limit to stop the Freecooling when both, compressor and free cooling are working. If the pressure exceeds
the limit, the free cooling is stopped for 1 hour. Freecooling will be reactivated only if the pressure value comes over the limit plus the
hysteresis defined.

A133 defines the working band of compressor 1 and 2 when Freecooling is active. The band value (in %) is calculated according to the
temperature Setpoint and DT3 parameter values. The DT3 parameter is used also to activate compressor 1.
Compressor 2 (if existing) is activated 1.5 K above.

All available 0 - 10Vdc outputs may be used for several purposes:

3P. ACTUATOR 1: Position of first 3 point actuator (Feedback)
3P. ACTUATOR 2: Position of second 3 point actuator (Feedback)
HEATING 33%: Signal increases to 10V within the first step of heaters.
SUPPLY CONTROL: Fan speed regulation in relation to supply air temperature
RADCOOLER: Dry Cooler Fanspeed control. (Glycol FC, incl. Su/WI changeover)
HEATER BOARD: For units which have additional heater board for electrical heaters.
HT HUM: Humidity signal (0%rH-100%rH = 0V-10V)
SUPPLY TEMP: (0C-50C = 0V-10V)
RETURN TEMP: (0C - 50C = 0V - 10V)
FANSPEED: Fanspeed Control.
HEATERS: Signal increases to 10V within the heaters part of p-band.
HUMIDIFIER: Signal increases to 10V within the humidifier part of p-band.
COOLING: Signal increases to 10V within the cooling part of p-band.
COOLING 1: Signal increases to 10V within the compressor 1 hysteresis.
COOLING 2: Signal increases to 10V within the compressor 2 hysteresis.
SUPERSAVER: Output for Setpoint- shifting of Superchillers / Matrix units.
ALARMBOARD: Signal for Alarm board
METRIC ROOM: Drive signal for Hotgas reheating in 'Constant-like' units.
NOTE: Compressor will not stop on Setpoint, but 25% of p-band lower, with a delay of 20 minutes
I-VARIEX: Condenser Fanspeed control
D-SCROLL: Digital Scroll Compressor control + Condenser Fanspeed control
NOTE: it is enough to set one of the available analog outputs as D-Scroll to active the digital scroll compressor management; in this case
the related output is automatically used to manage the condenser fan speed as for I-Variex function; the digital scroll compressor capacity
is done by the digital output 12 (P35 1/5). The I-Variex and D-Scroll functions becomes independent as soon as one output is set as DScroll and another one is set as I-Variex; in this case the digital scroll compressor capacity is managed by the related analog output set as
D-Scroll and not by the digital output.
Inv Cooling: Like the cooling output, but inverted: 100% at the setpoint, 0% at full cooling.

1, 2, Ext

Defines which has to be the first actuator:

1 = the 3P actuator 1 is the first one
2 = the 3P actuator 2 is the first one
Ext = the assignment is done according to the digital input 3 (P5-a of medium); closed = 3P1, open = 3P2
