Week of April 13 to April 20, 2010

Sector 2 had two home burglaries for the above week: Date & Time
Burglar gained entry:
by breaking a window 32xx 3rd Ave So 4/13-14 bet 7am-9am
by kicking in panel on door 36xx Park Ave 4/20 bet 7:15pm-8:45pm
(victim knows suspect)

There were four garage burglaries for the above week in Sector 2.
Burglar gained entry:
by forcing the service door 38xx 26th Ave So 4/17-18 bet 11pm-9am
by prying the service door 38xx 25th Ave So 4/17-18 bet 11pm-9am
with no force evident 41xx 31st Ave So 4/14 bet 1 am-6:30 am

34xx 3 Ave So 4/20 bet 2 am-9:45 am

There was one business burglary during this time period in Sector 2.

On 4/16-17 sometime between 11 pm to 9:30 am, unknown suspect(s) gained entry to

Derrick’s BBQ and Soul Food at 3801 Chicago by prying the rear door. Wires to the phone
and alarm system were cut. Loss: coins.

There were three auto thefts and there were no theft from motor vehicle reports (second week
in a row with no theft from motor vehicles reported).

Call 911 immediately if you see a crime in progress or anything suspicious.
