Role of Technology
Technology is going to be a very important aspect in my classroom. We will be using
iPads as seen below almost everyday. The iPads will be provided by the school so you do
not need to worry about providing your own. We will be using the iPads to interact in the
class with lessons and for students to practice their skills on. They will be only be able to
access the apps on the iPads and any inappropriate sites or apps will be blocked.

School Supplies
Your child should have the school supplies listed below no later than two weeks after this is sent
out. Your child will need:

Pencils
Pens (red and black)
5 notebooks
Colored Pencils
2 binders
Ruler
3 Folders

Field Trip
The field trip that we are taking this year is to the Discovery Center! This field trip will happen in
April 2017. The Discovery Center is a fun interactive place for your student to learn and have fun
at the same time. More information will be provided as the field trip approaches.

I look forward to teaching your students and hope to provide them with the best
