Being that our video is a narrative we do not depict
an artist, But instead have characters.
J. Cole is a fashionable artist that has influenced the
rap game immensely. In terms of his style, lyrical rap
is a rare talent overshadowed by modern hip-hop.
This is due to the fact that lyrical/spoken rap has
become less popular than auto tuned catchy hip hop
e.g. Fetty Wap. With the influence that Tupac, Nas
and Eminem has had on the young J. Cole his form of
rapping is coming back and is starting to become
more popular.
The story of two friends who fall-out due to his
addiction.
The start of this story is that one friend finds the
other past out OD in their apartment. This leads to
the drug addicted associate to move out. During his
struggles he eventually finds himself clean and free
of this debilitating addiction. He works his way up in
society and ultimately finds courage to get in contact
with his friend. When the other party does not reply
he decided to take a visit

Telling a story but letting the audience to interpret it
themselves. What we mean by this is that the song
in itself has a very sad and melancholy vibe to it. This
means any bad situation that the audience has
