Having an opportunity to work at Mercy Medical Center has greatly helped increase my
medical knowledge. Being able to be a ROP student at your facility has allowed me to
receive high quality experience. I am interested in seeking a job as a nursing aide at Mercy
Medical Center. This job will provide me with a better grasp in the medical field, helping me
get one step closer to achieving my goal as a registered nurse.
This job would be the perfect starting point to guide me in the right direction to get the
comprehension of knowing what it is like to be a registered nurse. Being able to work with
your knowledgeable staff to help expand my own knowledge as well. I am currently
enrolled in the college level class, Medical Technologies, which has assisted me with the
skills needed to apply for a medical position. I have been trained and certified in the
following skills and procedures: Vital Signs, Blood Borne Pathogens, HIPAA, OSHA, First Aid,
and BLS. Along with those skills I am bilingual in English and Spanish. I am familiar with
Google Drive, Microsoft Word, Office, and Excel. I am a fast learner, hardworking,
determined and work well with others.
