I was informed of the open position for a physical therapy aide through my work
as an ROP student at your workplace, Mercy Medical Center Merced. Mercy
Medical Center is a wonderful place for me to begin to develop my knowledge in
the medical field and physical therapy. As you review my resum, you will see I
am qualified for the position as a physical therapy aide.
Through my classes ROP Medical Technologies and Anatomy/Physiology, I have
received a considerable amount of knowledge about the medical field and
physical therapy. I have been certified in HIPAA, OSHA, Basic Life Support, and
Blood Borne Pathogens. In addition, I have been trained in vital signs, using a gait
belt, and teaching patients how to use crutches and walkers. I am bilingual; I am
proficient in English and also know Spanish. I am reliable, productive, and work
well with other people. When given a task I strive to complete it to my fullest
potential and above expectation; I will gladly work with anything you need. With
your guidance I will be helping others and will be able to learn more about the
field of physical therapy, which will assist me in becoming a pediatric physical
therapist.
