Alfonso Zuriaga Short biography

Alfonso Zuriaga was born in Madrid (Spain) in 1986, and is at the moment the Spanish
Lecturer at the University of Madras. He studied Spanish Language and Literature in
Madrid and Barcelona Universities (Bachelor), European Literature in Madrid
(Masters) and Italian Culture, Language and Literature at Carlo Bos University in
Italy (Masters). He was also awarded by the Fulbright Scholarship and worked at
Wheaton College (Massachusetts, USA) as a Spanish tutor during one year. He has
published the book La scrittura del vuoto (2014) and different articles published by
Fermenti (Italy) and Saint Louis University. He has presented the results of his
research at Saint Louis University (Madrid, 2011 and 2015), ASMI Association
(University of Edimburgh, 2014) and CHIASMI Conference (Brown and Harvard
Universities, Rhode Island, 2014).Moreover, he has been a teacher at High School in
Madrid for 2 years.
