Ramp B was evaluated for compliance with safety standards requiring a maximum slope of 1:12 or 0.083333. Initial measurements of the main section of the ramp found a slope of 0.084033, slightly above the limit but still compliant. However, further examination revealed an unsecured piece of metal transitioning to the ground, with a steeper slope of 0.6504065041 measured for that section. As this exceeded the safety standard, the ramp was declared non-compliant.

Ramp B doesnt meet the safety standard of 1/12 or a slope of 0.083333. The majority of the ramp is elevated so we had to measure without the wood and that gave us 50 cm, the rise. Then we measured the run, this gave us 595 cm. Then we got the coordinates, (0,50) and (595,0). We inserted the coordinates into the slope formula, y1-y2/x1-x2, and got -50/595. Then we divided the numbers and got 0.084033, it was legal. But then we noticed the other end wasnt touching the asphalt, so we studied the ramp even closer and found out that there was just a random piece of metal to make the elevated ramp touch the ground. So we had to find the slope of the little slope, so we redid the steps. We got a rise of 4 cm and a run of 61.5 cm. After we put the coordinates into the formula, we got -4/61.5, so we divided and got 0.6504065041, this was way of the standard, so I declare Ramp B off the standard for a safe wheelchair ramp.
