how to multiply like a Chinese

all the branches of math have concepts but the one that stood out most was the way the
chinese did multiplication. it was way easier and all you had to do was: draw the lines
and count how many times the lines intersect.

USA VS CHINA
in China you only need 2 years of training to be teacher compared
to the US where you need 4. If a student is having difficulties, the
teacher would call up teh student and make the student solve a
problem so all the students and the teacher can help the student
understand. then if they still dont understand they talk to the
teacher afterschool individually in the US they put the students in
groups.

the abacus can be used to solve
multiplication, division, addition, and
subtraction. this tool, if used correctly can
be as accurate as a calculator.
