Math A – Mathematics in Modern World
GROUP TASK 1

Answer the following questions (15 – 20 lines) and submit your answer in the GOOGLE
CLASSROOM using the account of the leader only.

1. What are the new things that you learned about the nature of Mathematics?
Every action we take involves mathematics, which is present everywhere and serves as the
foundation for all of our daily actions. Every stage of our evolution has seen it in the vanguard, and as
civilized civilizations developed, our needs for mathematics pioneering arose on the border of our
course as we get ready for the human species to cross the cosmos. As we read the context reference,
Math will be able to allow us by dealing with different patterns including arts, symbols equations,
shapes, and even logical thinking. Math is broad and it needs deep understanding while engaging
such as formulas and how we solve it by using basis and measurements. There are innumerable
undiscovered applications and uses for mathematics. It does not only something that stimulates our
minds, but also enables us to learn and recognize the world's natural order. This field of study was
and still is frequently studied as a pure science, but it also has applications in other fields of
knowledge preservation. Mathematics is a science of abstract objects; it depends on logic rather than
observation as its standard of truth, but uses observation as a method of truth discovery.
Mathematics reveals hidden patterns that help us understand the world around us. In our day to day
lives, we always incorporate Mathematics in every field of life may it be in the field of sciences,
humanities, literature, medicine, and even in music and arts; it operates in our communities, fits our
daily rhythm, and is the accepted norm in our society.

2. What aspect of the lesson significant changed your view about mathematics?
It is crucial to understand how math works because it is a style of thinking. It is important in any
different field to challenge and study regularities, the applications delight us to learn and investigates
things. When we visualize a "circle" in our minds, it is just a concept until we use a set of compasses
to practically create the circle on some paper. The area that it covers can then be calculated using the
formula Area = pi x Radius squared, but this is still only a thinking process until the radius is
measured and the computation is made. We might verify the math by counting the squares if the
circle was created on graph paper that was squared. So, in order to demonstrate a concrete example
of a thought process, we have a straightforward example of a thought process in motion. Learning
Math goes beyond. You must follow a precise procedure in arithmetic, like in many other areas of life,
in order to arrive at the correct solution. Your brain changes its wiring as a result, enabling you to start
viewing issues differently. Any issue you encounter has a solution, but getting there requires a
sequence of steps that you must take. That is how effective the learning of math is. The act of
learning anything develops neural connections between brain cells. These pathways get stronger with
use. Imagine a little stream of water that gradually shapes itself into a river as it flows downward.
Such is the power of the educational process.
3. What is the important contribution of mathematics in humankind?
Mathematics is useful for humankind in terms of logical and mental development to make our lives
more balance. Math is a essential in today’s world, everyone uses mathematics in their daily life and
most of the time we do not even realize it. The foundation of modern ordered life is mathematics. We
are unable to settle any problems in our daily lives without the use of numbers and mathematical
evidence. We must contend with confusion and turmoil in the absence of these sports data since
there are times, measures, rates, wages, tenders, discounts, claims, supply, jobs, stocks, contracts,
taxes, money exchange, consumption, etc. Math has a big contribution to humankind to calculate and
construct things that are usually hard to express. Math helps us in a way such. Mathematics is a
methodical application of matter, it makes a man methodical or systematic. Mathematics makes our
lives in order and prevents us from chaos. Either one enjoys math or one doesn't. Numerous abstract
and challenging mathematical topics may be one of the reasons why students dislike the subject. All
of these concepts—variables, equations, and the dreaded narrative problems—can be challenging to
decipher and comprehend, but they are necessary for everyone to solve problems in real life, whether
now or in the future. Without numbers, our world today would be gone. Without numbers, it would be
impossible to measure anything, read clocks, make phone calls, and many other things. Everyone
has been placed in a position where they must organize various types of data that have been
supplied to them in order to make decisions about the issue. Whether we realize it or not, we utilize
math every day. Math plays a huge role in our daily lives. Whether we like it or not, it is a subject that
people will need to know for the rest of their lives. The absence of math would result in complete
anarchy.
