RFID BASED PREPAID ENERGY METER

The PREPAID ENERGY METER concept can facilitate improved cash flow
management in energy utilities and can reduce problems associated with the billing of
consumer living in isolated area and reduces deployment of manpower for taking meter
readings.
When the consumer flashes RFID tag in front of RFID Reader, microcontroller
checks for balance amount in the card and controls electrical load for a certain time.
When amount gets over electrical load is automatically switched off.
