The beginning
The word RADAR is an acronym derived from the words
Radio Detection and Ranging.

1886 Heinrich Hertz
1904 Christian Huelsmeyer
1933 Guglielmo Marconi
1937 Home Chain
1940 Magnetron realization

Conclusions

In the conclusion, I might say that the RADAR is a electronic navigation

equipment that proved his important utility by his functiones on board as we haved
seen.

In order to obtain a maximum of information and that this information to be

conform with the reality, it must always take into account the performance and
technical limitations of the radar equipment.

Knowing the facilities offered by the equipment and how to use them correctly is
very important, especially when working with radar ARPA, because data provided
by radar about navigation safety are in most of the time extremely useful.

Alongside with the efficient radar exploitation, should not be forgotten the

traditional methods of observation, especially watchkeeping, both visual and
auditory.
