Intro
We originally had different ideas to go on, since Alex wanted to do crime, and I
wanted to do something involving drugs and police, we combined our topics into
making our question while also not letting it become bais.

Hypothesis: we assumed, that people didn't feel safe around their

neighborhood due to the location they lived in.

Set up
Where?: Our population revolved around the Smiths grocery stores in Magna and
West Valley.
Who?:The type of people we asked were older adults with kids, because they had
more effects around the neighborhood due to age.
Observation: Some people who lived in their neighborhood longer had security
cameras up to feel safer.
Question: On a scale from 1-10, how often do
you feel unsafe in your neighborhood due to
criminal activity and or drug activity? 10
being good.

DATA
Experiment: We asked around 50 people from
each Smith's.
We took that and compared each of them from
one another.

Reflection

Due to our data, It means on average percent people felt unsafe in a rich area
just as much as if it was a really poor area.
It was really great to see people's reactions face to face.
We've learned that no matter where you are some people still feel unsafe. We
were surprised though, to find out that majority of the people felt safe at their
house, but some had security cameras just in case.
Applying this to everyday life outside of school, helps a lot of your surveying to
see how much people actually feel so you could go to door to door offering
business to protect them from any robberies, but it also teaches us that
anywhere can be unsafe.
