You are in an English speaking country taking summer courses to improve your English. Write an email to friend back home sharing the experiences of being in a classroom full of students of different nationalities. Hi Mickey, How are you? I am fine I hope you well. I am emailing you for telling you some of my experiences on my summer courses. When I started this course, I had never thought meeting people of other countries, it is too interesting because you can learn about their cultures and increase your knowledge about issues, themes when speaking with them. Our English Classes are based on discussion about global and more themes, we usually write an extend essay about the information exposed in class. The first day was embarrassed for me due to when the teacher came to the classroom, the spoke very well the language and only I did not understand him very well as I hoped. When the teacher asked for my personal presentation on the class, I just told my name and where I from, nothing else. The next day was better because I familiarized with some of the people who study with me for example Johan, Lana and Marie coming from Germany, French and United States respectively. I met them when they sat closer me and I talked about the last day, we laughed too much. They become my best friends when doing almost all the activities together and sharing perspectives about the matter and also some jokes. Every day is a different conversation with my classmates, the last week we discussed about the economy on our countries and also the importing and exporting, on that moment I noticed that bananas among other fruits are not chipper in European countries as Ecuador, I was amazed for this. Yesterday we talked about social relationship and education. According to my researching and the testimony of Johan, Germany has the best educational system while Great Britain have the politest population, but with exceptions. Today we talked about natural disasters, Marie informs us that in his country the tornados could be an exciting activity and also it is the center of several studies about its behavior but in Italy to be near of tornado is almost considered as suicide act. Sincerely, I cannot leave learning with them. Taking this English course abroad has taught me the importance of being open-minded because of you can learn many things about the people who are together you on classroom and you must understand their perspective based on the customs and traditions. I would not want finishing this course because I have lived the best of my experiences on this summer. I might have left you since some minutes ago, I am pretty busy. The best wishes for you, Edison.
