Topic / Theme for Display classroom job


Brief Description and photo (What does display show?)
This displays have 10 sections of the jobs in the classroom which are: group leaders,
line leader, line ender, librarian, IT help, paper distributor, paper collector, stamper and
canteen people. It include all students' names. Sometimes the teacher change some
students' jobs. So, the names in the display are moveable, the teacher or students can
move the names into jobs sections. The border are colorful and fit with classroom
environment.

Rationale (Why do this display?)


The jobs in the classroom teach the students to have responsibility and make students
feel that they are important and part of the classroom by having a role in it. Classroom
jobs also, reduce the teacher pressure of having many things to do.

get cork board from art room


print the 10 sections of jobs and students name (colored)
laminate the papers
stick them on the cork board (the students names will be in the middle)
layer border

Timeline (When)
1. I got cork board from art room on Wednesday 16th of Mar.
2. I printed the 10 sections of jobs and students name (colored)/ laminated them on
Sunday 20 of Mar.
3. I stuck them on the cork board on Monday 21st of Mar.
4. I laid the border on Tuesday 22nd of Mar.
Other
Students liked the display and interact with it. They know their jobs by looking at the
display. It was a good experiment for me to make my first display in a classroom. i
think we, as students teachers need to make more than one display to become familiar
with that and more creative. Also, we need more time and available resources.
