The space between two notes
By space we mean, within the range from
low to high notes.
How do we classify this space?

The Octave
A piano has 88 notes but some of them are
repeated in different ranges.
The OCTAVE is a large interval that goes from
one note, up to the same note in the highest
register.
This is due to sound waves vibrating twice as
fast

The Octave
The octave is made of 12 notes
These notes are called semitones (half step)
2 semitones = 1 tone
The other music intervals are usually within
one octave.
