Overview

The photoshoot was more spontaneous than planned.

The general idea was to get my model (Edris) to wear
a black jumper/top with black trouser and a dark hat.
This was specifically planned to bring out the hard
man like persona accompanied by the artist the
model was portraying. At the time of the photoshoot
itself, I along with the photographer, decided that the
model may be better suited wearing an extra layer.
Therefore I made the model wear a dark jacket. I also
made the model hear the hood of the jacket and the
photographer decided it would be better suited for the
model to have some sort of pose going on with his
fingers. In the end I decided to choose the image with
the finger pose as it showed confidence and a bit of
arrogance.

This photoshoot was specifically placed in a location

that would make the model look trapped and or
unsure. This time the different poses and positions
were more rehearsed. The model wore a blue shirt to
portray the calm nature of the artist himself. The
model usually looked quite distant from the focus of
the camera or the expression itself from the model
seems quite distant; this is to show the predicament
that the artist is currently in. The location also entailed
a cage so that the idea of being trapped can be
reinforced. The model stood in front of and behind the
fence to make sure that the emotion of the artist was
constantly being portrayed.
