Objective
I have worked with blind and visually impaired students for over ten years. I love the work I do and strive
to continue educating these exceptional students in the way they deserve. I work as part of a team with
students one on one and am rewarded for this work on a daily basis.

Experience
Jordan School District

February 2006- Present

I work in the vision department as an itinerant paraeducator. I travel to multiple schools as well as
transcribing and producing work for students in Braille and large print.

Speedy Turtle Petroleum

January 1996-2004

I managed twelve convenience stores and was responsible for scheduling, payroll, hiring, and bookkeeping
and accounting. I learned many skills during my years working that I continue to use today. This
experience taught me to work well with others as well as great leadership skills.

Education

January 2015- Present

I am earning my bachelors degree in Special Education with an endorsement in vision. I maintain a 3.8
gpa and will graduate in early 2017.

Skills
I work in the vision department for ten years. I know Braille and Nemeth code, as well as having
proficiency with computers and low vision equipment. I work as transcriber as well as teaching students
one on one or with a group.
