LETTER TO THE READERS
Hello reader! I am Wendell Policarpio at Ibajay National High School. I made this
portfolio to share what i have learned about my work immersion experience, and
also to finish this one of the requirements in Grade 12 before we graduate. I want
to show this portfolio to share my knowledge, experience and also working with
other people until the day we finished our work immersion.

This portfolio gives you advance knowledge about work immersion. About my
experience to work with other people we met strangers and to become a
friends/workmate, we enjoy the days and the moments and also we are working
together with them because we have only one destination is to graduate.

During my activities in work immersion, i learn a lot of advices came from the
staff of Agzam. You must know the proper way of communicating the guest,
trainors,workmate and also at the other people as a sign of respect at the simple
way of greeting, "Good morning/afternoon/evening ma'am/sir. The other is you
must know your limit as a staff/employee, you must know that as a staff, customer
is always right. I hope you enjoy while reading my portfolio, and i hope this
portfolio can help you to improve some knowledge in advance.
ACKNOWLEDGEMENT

First of all I would to thankyou to our Almighty God, for giving us strength,
knowledge, and protection every day. Also for his unconditional guidance that help
me perform my task to accomplishing my work immersion.

I would like to give thanks to my fellow classmates and workmates for helping me
to comfort me when the time I was facing many problems for my day to day
experience in work immersion.

To my loving parents, you’re the one of more way to achieve this; my work
immersion, thankyou for your all support, for the financial and also for the
guidance.

Lastly, I wish to extend my sincere gratitude to all who helped us in any way

INTRODUCTION

The grade 12 Senior High School Students have started the work immersion
related to their selected Academic Track or their selected vocational course. The
immersion train student and strengthen theirs skill or expertise for the work in the
future.it is part of the K-12 program which prepares student to work in companies.

According the Department of Education, this program is an 80 hours hands-on

encounter which Senior high School students must experience to opn them to the
genuine working environment setting and improve their abilities learned in school.
The Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE) said work, this is an integral
part of the K-12 Program in fully realizing its goal to produce job- ready Graduate
equipped with industry- based skills. DOLE strongly affirms that work immersion
contributes to the full realization of the objectives of the K- 12 Program.

Through this program the students will be ready to their big steps in working and
be comfortable familiar with the business related condition. In line with their
specialization students experience the social interaction in work environment that
would help them as they graduate and face real life. Work immersion is useful as it
enables Senior High Students to decide if what they have chosen in the school is
what they want to have as a carrier. Being able to test their skills and knowledge in
practice will help them develop their carrier choice

SELF-INTRODUCTION
My name is Wendell Policarpio I was born on May 13, 2005. I live in San Isidro, Ibajay, Aklan,
18 years old. My hobbies are: playing online games,andspending more time with my friends and
family. My mother’s name is Ezra Policarpio and my father’s name is Gil Policarpio.
I finished my elementary at San Isidro Elementary School. Now I am a Senior High SSchoo
student at Ibajay National High School. When I was in High School. My dream is to continue my
further education in the university and become a reputable professional. I want to pursue my
dreams, so I will continue my study at College. I want to be a successful criminology someday.

Objectives of the Work Immersion

Work Immersion is helping develop among learner’s life and careers skills that will prepare them
to make decision on post-secondary education or employment, DepEd hopes that through
partnership building, “partner institutions will provide learners with work immersion
opportunities, workplace or hands-on experience and additional learning resources

 Enhance the technical knowledge and skills

 Develop good work habit, attitudes, appreciation, and respect for work.
 To become a familiar with the work
 Enrich their skills in communications and human relation
 To apply their competencies in areas of specialization/applied subjects in authentic work
environment
